OVER NANS JCC IN ABIA STATE.
My attention has been drawn by Council of SUG Presidents in Abia State after an emergency meeting held on Friday 12th June 2020 over the Formation of NANS Joint Campus Committee in the state, after expressing thier views, displeasures and thier position Respectively and as Critical Stakeholders of our Noble Association, it is also pertinent to note that NANS Joint Campus Committee are in charge of the state activities in the various institutions in Abia State, however the need to partner and work directly with the Union Presidents is very fundamental cum statutory.
It is on this ground that I made bold to notify the public & Students' community at large that formation of Nans Jcc Abia State is yet to be confirmed & as such , no JCC hv been officially constituted in the state to act as we are faced with series of issues on ground to harmonize interest and differences.
However, all JCC nominees from various institutions in Abia State are hereby directed to fall back to thier Union Presidents and Senior leaders cum Stakeholders from thier school Respectively and initiate a more formidable working Relationship as we shall in few days from now resolve the matter for the interest of all and for the benefit of our Noble Association..

NANS APPLAUDS HON. UKO, CELEBRATES HIS ONE YEAR IN OFFICE.
The National Association of Nigerian Students, Abia State Axis under the leadership of Comr Frank Eme Orji congratulates the federal rep member representing the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Hon. Uko Nkole AKA Mr Project.
Comr Frank in his statement appreciated the federal rep member for his generous and benevolent acts towards his constituents and beyond and the major projects completed so far and attracted by Mr Projects
It is worthy to note that Mr Project, in his constituency alone has given more than 150 People a permanent civil Service Jobs of 35years both federal and State level.
Mr Project, has attracted a lot of federal presents in his constituents.
The Man Hon. Uko Nkole has continued to construct and attract projects that connect people and communities, as well as restore hope to areas by way of giving them access to trade.
Pictured below is Atani Abam bridge, that links the Arochukwu LGA of Abia state and Ikpe Okoro community of Akwa Ibom state..The project was attracted by the Honourable member, representing Ohafia /Arochukwu Federal constituency. The bridge, will make it easier for the people of Arochukwu to easily transport their goods and farm produce From Arochukwu to Akwaibom and vice versa.
He also has completed another bridge at Idima Abam Bridge. The bridge links Idima and Ndi Ememe Abam in Arochukwu LGA.
He has also completed a Water borehole at Ibina Ohafia, Mgbaga Ebem Ohafia and Ihechiowa in Arochukwu LGA.
A six class room block is 80% completed at Amankwu Ohafia.
There is an ongoing Water Reticulation project at Isiama Ohafia and a completed Reticulation at Abiriba and Ozu Abam.
Already, Works have been completed at Okagwe and Nkwebi in Ohafia, where Solar powered street lights was mounted.
The Honourable also donated a drum of cables to Ndi Okpo and Umuzongbo villages in Ihechiowa clan to extend electricity to new Settlements.
Donated 4 nos 200/33kva transformers to Abam, Ebem Ohafia, Elu Hospital road in Ohafia and Isiama layout in Amaekpu also in Ohafia.
Ongoing rehabilitation of Ndiememe Abam health Centre.
Contract for the rehabilitation of failed portions of Bende /Abam/Ohafia road to commence any moment from February ending.
A school block at Nkporo comprehensive School and Obiene technical school, at commencement stage.
Grading of Amuru Abam Road and Achichi Elu Udumeze road.
Mr Project, has distributed more than 50 Mini bus to his constituents, no wonder, Hon.Ginger Onwusibe dimes it feat to invite him for the distribution of 20 Mini bus to his constituents and equally adressed Rt. Hon. Nkole as MR PROJECT.
The students community in Abia State under the leadership of Comr Frank Eme Orji, once again reiterate and reaffirm our whole support towards Mr Project as we pray for more of God's blessings on him.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS, ABIA STATE AXIS FELICITATES WITH HE SEN. ORJI UZOR KALU.
The students community in Abia State under the distinguished leadership of Comr. Eme Orji Frank (NANS Zonal Rep, Abia State) congratulates the Chief whip of the Senate and senator representing Abia North at the red Chambers, HE Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu on his well deserved victory at the supreme court.
Responding to the charges laid against the former governor of Abia State, Comr Frank described the accusations as acts of power driven individuals wanting to destroy the reputation of a good man and tarnish his political career forgetting power comes from God and as such, whom God has blessed, no one can curse. It is no news that the South East region of the country expects the position of the presidency to be zoned to us and OUK is among the Credible candidates for the position.
Comr Frank described HE Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu as a man loved by the masses for his humility and liberality, who has the interest of his constituents at heart and ready to improve the country at large. He prays for God's guidance and wisdom to carry out his duties while assuring the Senator of the undiluted support of the students community in Abia State to his office.

GOVERNOR OKEZIE IKPEAZU AIDE CONGRATULATES PROF. GODSWILL OBIOMA ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS NECO REGISTRAR
The Special Assistant on Students Affairs to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Comr Ndom Chibuzor congratulates Erudite Prof Godswill Obioma on his appointment as the Registrar cum Executive CEO of National Examination Council (NECO).
In his congratulatory message to the illustrious son of Bende LGA of Abia State, Comr Ndom thanked President Muhammadu Buhari over the honour done on Ndi Abia in general, describing Prof. Obioma's emergence as victory for the state in it's entirety. He ascribed the appointment as been in furtherance of President Buhari's goodwill and trust towards Abia State and we are greateful as we look forward to more appointments.
Comr Ndom concluded by praying that Prof. Obioma finds the grace to discharge his duties as a patriotic Nigerian and true Abian who understands the weight of responsibility imposed on him.

HON. UKO NKOLE KEEPS PROMISE, PROVIDES RELIEF MATERIALS FOR STUDENTS
As earlier promised, the Rep member representating Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Uko Nkole provided relief materials for students within his constituency.
The event which took place at his hometown at Arochukwu was graced with students from the different villages which compromised the constituency. The delegation of students was led by Comr. Frank Eme Orji (NANS Zonal Rep, Abia State), who was accompanied by Hon. Comr Udom Chibuzor (SA (Students) to the Governor) and Hon. Comr. Idika Agwu Okpo. The Zonal Rep started by introducing all those present, then went ahead to commend the Rep member for his benevolent act, as he sighted Hon. Uko Nkole, the first person to remember the students community. He thanked the Hon. member for his good works in his constituency and requested other public office holders to emulate same. He also went ahead to request the Hon. member in more palliative measures especially, provisions of work to student leaders who have graduated.
Hon. Uko Nkole, in response to the Zonal Rep, appreciated the students so far, for their good conduct as he urged everyone not to misbehave during this period, he further went ahead to caution students from making derogatory statements against persons in media, especially the
government of the day. He further went ahead to list his achievements for the year and hinted on his moves towards Attracting Songhai farms, which when completed, will employ up to 100,000 youths. He stated some other projects which are still ongoing as he pledged to serve his people in spirit and in truth, as that was the reason why he was elected. He went ahead to promise that he'll have town hall meetings with his students henceforth on quarterly basis.
The SA on Students Affairsto the Governor, Hon Comr Udom Chibuzor, who was present thanked the Hon member for his kind gesture. He stated he wished other public office holders could do the same as this will reduce pressure on the part of the state government as he sighted a recent plea from Abia State students in diaspora especially from the kingdom of Morocco, who currently are calling on the Government to come to their aid during this pandemic. Hon. Chibuzor went ahead to disclose the actions of the state government towards aiding the masses this period as he appreciated the Hon. member for indirectly helping the government.
Hon. Uko Nkole in his vote of thanks, thanked everyone present for coming and promised to abide by everything he earlier said. He donated bags of rice, cartons of indomie and hand sanitizers.
The Zonal Rep then called on all students present to pray for Hon. Uko Nkole for God to keep blessing him and granting him more success. A closing prayer was said and everyone dispersed , happily.
